
Russula supplied DC drives to ArcelorMittal Acindar plant in Argentina. The DCS800 drives were mounted in an electrical cabinet and included a low voltage air circuit-breaker, field exciter and a Profibus communications module for communicating with the PLC.

ArcelorMittal Acindar and Russula have had a successful partnership dating back to 1995, when Russula upgraded the control system for their other two strand wire rod mill in Villa Constitución. Since 2002, Russula has completed numerous electrical projects for Acindar in San Nicolas.
