The groundbreaking ceremony on January 28, 2020, marked the official start of the construction phase for the new CELSA France rolling mill, located in the Boucau and Tarnos municipalities in the New Aquitaine region. Regional political dignitaries and business associates attended the ceremony.
The new mill will position the Boucau-Tarnos steelworks as the largest in Southern France strengthening the sustainable growth plan of the group to increase its competitiveness and profitability.

The fully digitalized mill will produce wire rod for the France and Belux markets. Russula will supply the entire plant technology setting a new benchmark in sophisticated mechanical equipment, advanced automation and ecological design.
